Location: Sacramento, California

Radii 150

Radii 150 is the only organization dedicated to the improvement of Personal Social Health. Through social events, education and fun we strive to provide the maximum amount of opportunities to create solid connections while maintaining a level of comfort.

As our Members create solid connections there are also creating Personal Communities and improving their Personal Social Health. Life is too large for any one person alone, and we as humans are designed to be social creatures. By increasing a person's sense of community we improve their Personal Social Health, increasing feeling of happiness, fulfillment and joy.

Becoming healthier and happier has never been so much fun

Jenner Health Centre Patient Participation Group

Location: PE7 1EJ

We are patients of the Jenner Health Centre in Whittlesey who have a monthly meeting every second Tuesday evening of each month at the Practice from 7pm.
We all volunteer our time and energy in whatever activity we feel is needed to help the Jenner and it's patients.
We help the Jenner with their Patient Survey each year.
We provide feedback to the surgery from patients.
We organise several fundraising events each year to help raise funds for the Jenner to purchase additional group practice equipment that is not provided by funding from the Primary Care Trust budgets. This is to further help it's patients and the community.

Somersham Community First Responders

Somersham/Pidley Community First Responder Scheme is made up of local Volunteers, trained to attend calls received by the 999 service and provide first aid and basic life support until the emergency services arrive.

They are contacted by Ambulance control and asked to attend only calls in their designated area. The types of emergencies include - unconsciousness, chest pain, stroke or breathing problems and can be in the home, in the street or in a work-place.

An emergency ambulance is always dispatched first to any incident. CFR’s are not expected to attend emergencies involving road accidents, young children or those people/areas considered unsafe or situations that are known to be violent.

The responders are trained and managed by the Ambulance Service. Most equipment will be serviced and replaced free but there may be a need for extra equipment that we feel will benefit Somersham and Pidley and for this we have local fundraising events.
Maria Garner - group coordinator, 01487 841980 is very willing to talk to any group about the scheme and how to become a Somersham Voluntary Community First Responder.
